The EastsideCity development will transform this 13.7 hectare brownfield city centre site to create one of the largest regeneration schemes of its kind in the UK, providing high quality office space for 15,000 workers and creating 5,000 new jobs, along with 1.3 million square feet of stylish new homes and nearly 200,000 square feet of leisure and retail space.
EastsideCity will be Nottingham’s first BREEAM Excellent rated office and business campus ensuring high quality sustainable accommodation with minimal environmental impact to accord with present day and future corporate expectations and responsibilities.
In addition to the high quality commercial accommodation the EastsideCity site will provide new homes arranged in a lively and vibrant setting created by a large four acre central urban park which in turn will lead visitors and residents away into further open public spaces, squares and pedestrian friendly boulevards. The overall development will provide a total of nearly 3 million sq ft of new building space.
The site is located in the southern section of the Eastside Regeneration Zone in Nottingham. It is bounded by the main arterial routes of Manvers Street and London Road and benefits significantly from it’s city centre location, it’s connectivity to Nottingham’s historic Lace Market, the public transport hub of the nearby Midland Mainline railway station and Nottingham’s new tram system. The development also includes dedicated bus and cycle routes to ensure it’s integration with the City’s existing infrastructure.
