Joint statement by Nottingham Regeneration Ltd and
Eastside & city Developments Ltd

Nottingham Regeneration Ltd is pleased to announce that it is engaged in detailed discussions with Eastside and city Developments Ltd, a development consortium comprising Roxylight, Explore Investments and Mr Andy Grogan, on a major regeneration initiative for Nottingham's Eastside area.

These discussions are at an advanced stage and follow an earlier decision by the board of Nottingham Regeneration Ltd. to recognise Eastside and city Developments as its preferred choice of development partner in the regeneration of Eastside.

Eastside and city Developments is the largest single landowner in Eastside and over the coming months will continue to work closely with Nottingham Regeneration Ltd. on detailed feasibility studies to bring forward a scheme that brings jobs, new investment and prosperity to Eastside.

It is hoped that the studies, which are being conducted with regard to the latest revised deposit draft of the Nottingham Local Plan Review, will result in the announcement of detailed proposals early in the New Year, to be followed by a wide ranging programme of public consultation.

Ken Grundy, Vice Chair of Nottingham Regeneration Ltd said "Deliverability and connectivity between the city Centre and St Anns and Sneinton are our priorities for Nottingham Eastside. We know from experience that ownership is going to be the key for delivering these priorities. Although it is still early days Nottingham Regeneration Ltd. is looking forward to forming a partnership with Eastside and city Developments who have shown their intent by acquiring significant sites in the Eastside."
